Neonatologists/ Pediatrician suspects a rare disease calls the HELP number
Provides clinical information to HELP panel of experts
HELP team guides on sampling (metabolic testing/ generic testing)/ they will be directed to seek advice and guidance in mx from the rare disease experts
Rare disease is confirmed / needs further work up
If confirmed, the family must seek assistance form Govt. of India Rare disease program that supports to up to Rs.5L. If the diagnosis remains unresolved, we will try to guide as is possible, but financial assistance will be limited to Rs.50000/-
